LYF Water 7 and Wind 1 4G VoLTE smartphones launched hard-reset.net

Reliance Retail officially unveiled its latest LYF branded smartphones in India, the Water 7 and Wind 1. The new Water 7, in particular, is wrapped up in sleek metal unibody design along with rear-facing fingerprint sensor. The Wind 1, on the other hand, comes with pretty average specs and features for its asking price. Let’s find out what the new LYF smartphones has to offer.

The Metallic Water 7 flaunts a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, protected by an Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Adreno 405 graphics, and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD up to 128GB.

LYF Water 7 and Wind 1

Other specs include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor under the camera, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with 4X Digital Zoom. The LYF Water 7 is backed by a 3000mAh battery that should last up to 150 hours (Standby time) on a single charge.

Moving to the Wind 1, it features a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection. Inside of the Wind 1 body lives a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage that you can expand with a microSD card up to 64GB. Also included is a 2300mAh battery that Reliance says can provide up to 460 hours of standby time on single charge.

The Wind 1 comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera, LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. Both the Water 7 and Wind 1 come with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and both support Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, and other usual sets of connectivity options.

Price & Availability:

The LYF Water 7 and Wind 1 launching exclusively to offline stores in India, and the smartphones are priced at INR 12999 and INR 6899, respectively.
