Intex has been trying to compete with the bigger smartphone makes and meanwhile it has launched another device dubbed as the Intex Aqua Power HD 4G. This handset will be an inclusion to the Aqua series and will also be the successor of the Intex Aqua Power HD that was released in 2015. Intex was also the first to release Firefox OS based smartphone, Cloud FX and Sailfish OS powered mobile phone called as Aqua Fish which didn’t make any impact on the market.
As the name suggests, the Aqua Power HD 4G is a 4G variant that supports LTE and packs a 5-inch touchscreen HD IPS display. Under the hood, there is a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and there is also a 3900 mAh battery on the back. The company has pushed in an 8 MP camera sensor on the rear with LED flash and on the front, there is a 5 MP sensor. The handset comes with Android Lollipop out of the box and is a Dual SIM variant.
The Aqua Power HD 4G is priced at Rs. 8,363 and will be available in Blue, Grey and Champagne colour options. This mid-range device will be coming with an onboard memory of 16 GB that further be extended up to a maximum of 32 GB via microSD card slot. The handset weighs 155 grams and is 9.66 mm thick with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. This device will be competing against other midrange devices like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Samsung J2 Pro, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, Coolpad Note 3 Lite Meizu M3 Note and other devices in the similar price bracket.
