Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F – Portugal (Optimus) – how to hard-reset

How to update Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F – Portugal (Optimus)
- Download firmware at http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G920F/OPT
- Download Odin at http://dl.sammobile.com/Odin3-v3.11.1.zip
Flashing or Firmware Update :
Open Odin
Enter Download Mode: (1) Turn Device Power Off, (2) Press and hold Volume Down key and Home key, While pressing these keys press and hold Power key, Release all key when Download Mode / Odin Mode appears
Connect the Android device to with USB Cable Data then press Volume Up key
Wait until the android device connected with Odin, a blue sign in Odin will appears ( ID:COM ) and the port COM number will different in each PC Computer.
Add the firmware file to AP
Set the options: Ticked “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” only
Click Start and Wait until the flashing firmware complete ( PASS! ).
Fixing Boot Loop after update firmware:
Some Samsung devices gets Boot Loop after upgrade the firmware. To solve it you can perform a hard reset or Factory reset. Follow this steps to hard reset your device.
- Turn Power off the device ( you can force it by remove the battery )
- Press and hold Volume UP button+ Home Button, while pressing these buttons then press and hold Power button for a while
- Release all buttons when Android or Samsung logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery ( RECOVERY MODE )
- Select wipe data / factory reset using Volume and press Power to confirm
- Select Yes — delete all user data using Volume and press Power to confirm
- Select Reboot system now using Volume and press Power to confirm
- Done!
